*Important: On March 23, 2021, the municipal council adopted an interim control by-law (RCI) concerning the densification of the sector where the building is located. It has recently been shown that the sanitary network in this sector presents certain problems, particularly during periods of heavy rain and snowmelt. In order to identify the required interventions and carry out the repair work to ensure adequate network capacity for future development, the by-law currently prohibits the issuance of permits for increasing discharges into the local sewer system, namely:
* the construction of new main buildings, except for the replacement of a residential building with another that has the same number of housing units;

* the increase in the number of dwellings inside existing buildings;

* any other request likely to result in an increase in discharges into the local sanitary network. This may apply to a change in use of a commercial premises that results in an increase in discharges into the sanitary network, in particular by the addition of toilets, sinks and/or showers, or by an increase in the volume of discharges for existing sanitary facilities following the new use.
